About This Journey
The Spanish Wine Expedition is not a tour. It is an invitation — extended personally by Nicolas Tena to a select circle of ten travelers — to experience the wine culture of Spain from the inside, through access that exists nowhere else in the world. Nicolas's own private estates in Spain's most celebrated appellations open their doors exclusively for this experience. You will walk the same vines he has tended, taste wines that are made in quantities too small for commercial distribution, and understand for the first time what it means to drink a wine that carries the story of a specific piece of earth.
This expedition moves through the wine regions of Spain — from the cool elegance of Galicia's RÃas Baixas (Albariño) to the oak-aged grandeur of La Rioja, the mineral complexity of Rueda, and the sun-drenched intensity of Priorat — combining estate visits with masterclasses, cellar dinners, and conversations with Spain's finest winemakers. Accommodation is at boutique wine estates and 5-star hotels throughout. It is, in every sense, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
